The Best Seat in the House

Every bathroom in our house has a different job. One gets the overnight guests. One handles everyday family traffic. One is where I actually get ready. And one exists almost entirely because sometimes a long soak solves more than it probably should.

None of them are fancy. But over the years, we’ve learned that even the most practical room in the house can feel warm, welcoming, and a little bit special.

We’ve mixed things we love with things that simply work—warm wood, black finishes, soft towels, good storage, and a few details that make us smile. Some were splurges. Some were Amazon finds. And some have followed us from house to house.

Because if there’s one room in the house where function really matters... well, this is it.

Come on in. We’ll show you around.

Take the Tour
  • Master Bathroom

Dark, warm, and a little unexpected. This room has evolved piece by piece—with a mix of splurges, Amazon finds, flea-market treasures, and things we simply loved.

  • Guest Bathroom

Small but mighty. This is the bathroom our overnight guests use, so we wanted it to feel comfortable, welcoming, and just a little nicer than it technically needs to be.

  • Soaking Room

The room with exactly one job: slow down. A deep tub, a little privacy, and permission to disappear for a while.

  • Family Bathroom

This one earns its keep. Lots of storage, durable finishes, and enough room for everyday family life without giving up on pretty.
